CUF uses Nextbitt platform to improve Medical Equipment Management
Real-Time Monitoring of Medical Equipment
CUF realized that there were major difficulties in monitoring medical equipment within the units. One of the problems encountered was asset tracking, which causes problems such as:
- A lot of time spent looking for equipment for day-to-day use or for maintenance and audits;
- A great deal of effort and a high number of errors in inventory processes;
- Lack of information on the utilization/availability rate of equipment, which can result in errors in the replacement and purchase process.
The pandemic, the result of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Covid 19), has deepened this difficulty, posing an additional challenge.
CUF has started using Nextbitt for all its medical equipment maintenance management. The platform is used intensively by around 1,400 service requesters. The mobile app helps all technicians with corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as well as inspections.

When placed on assets, they allow all information to be collected quickly and efficiently.
RTLS
With the use of the Real Time Location System, CUF has an immediate idea of the location of assets and their history.
Integration
Nextbitt ensured the smooth integration of the georeferencing systems into CUF's asset management platform and EAM system.
Monitoring SLAs
By always knowing where the assets are, you can keep track of all interventions. The platform automatically monitors the level of compliance with contracted SLAs.
