Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2024

Nextbitt was present at the 10th edition of the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2024, the main national event that brings together the most innovative solutions and initiatives for the future of cities. With a dedicated stand in the exhibition area, we presented our sustainable asset management solutions, showing how our technology contributes to creating smarter, more efficient and sustainable cities.

The Portugal Smart Cities Summit took place between October 8 and 10 at FIL Parque das Nações and went far beyond mobility and digital platforms. It was a unique opportunity to discuss the future of cities, integrating areas such as sustainability, technological innovation and improving citizens' quality of life. By bringing together experts, companies and decision-makers, this space became a real marketplace of opportunities, promoting collaboration between the national and international markets.

This event stood out for its presentation of the main innovations in areas such as Financing for the Climate Transition, ESG (Environmental Social Governance), Energy, Urban Rehabilitation, Mobility, IoT, Climate Change, Water, Waste, Green and Circular Economy, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Security, Cybersecurity and Big Data.

It was also a focal point for debates on strategies and emerging technologies, with the highlight being the "Local Authorities, Businesses and Citizens" conference, which brought together several mayors. In the field of security, the Security Summit addressed how AI and electronic technologies can strengthen security in smart cities.
