Nexbitt Reinforces its Commitment to Corporate Sustainability by Joining the BCSD Portugal Charter of Principles

Nextbitt has signed up to the Charter of Principles of the Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD) Portugal, which establishes a set of guidelines and objectives to promote the integration of sustainable practices into business strategies. With this initiative, BCSD Portugal aims to encourage good management practices and sustainability principles among all companies and their value chains.

The Charter is implemented by the 2030 Journey - the common business agenda for sustainability, which the signatory companies must follow. It consists of 20 objectives, 20 targets and 20 cross-cutting environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) indicators, demonstrating the contribution of companies to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  

Miguel Salgueiro, Partner at Nexbitt, expressed his satisfaction with this new step: "Joining the BCSD Portugal Charter of Principles reinforces our commitment to promoting business practices that not only benefit our organization, but also society and the environment.
