EDP uses the Nextbitt platform to simplify its physical asset and facilities management operations and gain control over its installations.
1.000 installations | 500 users | 22.000 assets
EDP wanted to simplify its physical asset and facilities management operations and gain control over its facilities.
With thousands of physical assets spread across several geographies, managing and monitoring maintenance service providers has become a difficult task.
Better visibility and control
Through a complete digitalization of the physical asset management process and centralized management by a dedicated team, strict control of all processes was achieved.
Cost reduction and resource optimization
Through sensorization, we were able to check for water leaks in landscaped areas in near real-time, which led to major savings in water consumption. In addition, after implementing Nextbitt, there was also a reduction in the effort required by back-office teams to manage operations, covering more than 20,000 physical assets in more than 800 locations.
More efficient and sustainable operation
Overall, the implementation of Nextbitt has enabled EDP to operate more effectively, efficiently and sustainably in a highly competitive market.
Identification of anomalous patterns and non-conformities
Connecting meters to Nextbitt's SaaS platform enabled them to identify anomalous patterns and non-compliances in water management and air quality monitoring.
With Nextbitt, we've eliminated almost 90% of calls and emails.
"With the Nextbitt platform, analysis and response times have improved considerably, and we know that 'time is money'.
In addition, today 100% of our preventive maintenance is scheduled automatically, which ensures efficiency and total control."

Engineering and Maintenance, CUFNextbitt was the ideal solution for the efficient and adaptable management of CTT's extensive asset park.
"The need to manage a large asset portfolio, very diversified and spread across the country, meant that we had to adopt a platform with a proven track record in the stable market, which would give us the guarantee of commitment, but also the necessary adaptability to CTT's specificities. Nextbitt was that solution."
